Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 250 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen fall athletic teams.

The following students were names to the Dean's list for the Fall 2018 semester at Grove City College.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has recently released its list of students named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must earn a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester.

A total of 472 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at the Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 15 at 9:45 a.m. in Koehler Fieldhouse. There will be 422 bachelor's degrees, 46 master's degrees and four doctoral degree awarded.

Twenty-six second-year students in the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology recently held its White Coat ceremony at Rolling Pines Golf Course and Banquet Facility. The White Coat ceremony honors the transition from full-time, in-class work to full-time clinical externship work. The White Coats were presented to the BU students by Shaheen N. Awan, Ph.D. Chairperson, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders; Shelley Scarpino, Ph.D., assistant professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders; and Patricia Lawton, associate professor, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The University of Alabama awarded some 1,342 degrees during its summer commencement Aug. 4. A total of 493 students enrolled during the 2018 summer term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Lebanon Valley College welcomed a record-breaking 518 new students this fall, exceeding last year's incoming student group, which was then the largest in the College's history. The fall 2018 class includes an all-time high 473 first-year students and 45 transfers.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its spring 2018 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on more than 1,225 students during the winter and spring semesters. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80.

The University of Scranton announced more than 1,650 students were named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester.

Nearly 1,700 students have been named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester.

Muhlenberg College celebrated its 170th Commencement on May 18, 2018. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 511 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

The Class of 2018 graduated in Elizabethtown College's 115th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 19. Kwame Anthony Akroma-Ampim Kusi Appiah, weekly columnist for The New York Times Magazine, was the speaker.

Members of the Class of 2018 received their diplomas May 20 at Colgate University's 197th Commencement. Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations delivered the keynote address.

More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester. CCU has a student population of 10,600.

James Madison University is pleased to announce the names of the students who made the dean's list for the spring 2018 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

A record 71 Muhlenberg College student-athletes were recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the field, court, track and course with their selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the spring 2018 season.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

The University of Scranton conferred nearly 600 master's and doctoral degrees at its graduate commencement ceremony on May 26 in the Byron Recreation Complex. Graduates recognized at the ceremony include those who completed their degree requirements in August and December of 2017, as well as January and May of 2018.
